Political Ping Pong
From blogger Steve Scott:

Don't Americans remember that the Democrats screwed this country over so bad that they voted for the Republicans as a result? And the Democrats only had a chance to screw us because Americans were so fed up with Republicans screwing us after the Democrats screwed us because the Repub...
Are Americans really that stupid? Guess so.
Then again, maybe Americans are starting to realize we are screwed over less badly when we have divided government (President from one party, one or both houses of Congress controlled by the other), than when one party's in charge.
Perhaps it is fair to say, however, that Americans are too stupid to even consider a third party or independents. But maybe we're focusing in the wrong area. Perhaps it isn't the parties that screw us, it's government that screws us - no matter who's in charge.

I don't think it is fair to call us stupid. I would certainly consider a third party, I am registered in one. I think you are right about the Republocratic party. There is really NO choice, whichever you choose, they are both morally bankrupt.
What do you suggest as a solution? Just calling Americans stupid is hardly a positive step toward a solution
My point is that we Americans as a group are stupid for not considering alternatives to the two parties.
