Rumsfeld takes a page out of Goering's playbook
Defense Secretary Rumsfeld says that critics of his and Bush's War strategy are appeasers of a new type of facism and likened them to those who tried to appease Hitler.
Ironically...:
>"Naturally, the common people don't want war, but they can always be brought to the bidding of their leaders. Tell them they are being attacked, denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and endangering the country. It works the same in every country."-- Herman Goering, Hitler's Reichsmarschall

I find it entertaining that liberals keep trying to associate Bush to Hitler. Liberals NEVER say anything bad about Mahmoud Ahmadineja, Iran's president - yet he outright speaks like Hitler reborn when he tells the world that Israel will be wiped off the face of the world.
It doesn't take much brain power to know who the Hitlers of the world are - all of those that oppose freedom and liberty - and that includes those that classify themselves as "liberals".
Gee - wonder if the Gestapo host of this blog will even let this comment see the light of day.
You don't really get the concept of irony, do you JAD? Rumsfeld makes the Hitler connection and that gets a pass from you. Yet when I draw a parallel you wanna wave the Hitler flag.
Your concept of Bush = support for freedom and liberty is revealing.
Tell me,
which administration practices warrant-less searches of American citizens?
Which administration sited a detention center outside of the United States so that the detainees wouldn't be afforded the inalienable rights (to borrow The Founders term for it) which the basest of accused criminals exercize inside the United States per the US Constitution?
Which administration argued that it doesn't have to obey certain laws and legally binding treaties pertaining to torture?
Which administration ran an entire re-election campaign almost exclusively on GOP Only admission standards?
Pat is on top of this
