Perspective, what a concept
Michael Totten finally posted an essay he'd wanted to post last year but never quite got around to it. The wait was more than worth it, IMHO. “The Israelis Live Over There, So I Don’t Have to Forgive Them!” One of the very best essays I've read in a very long time.
Greg over at The Talent Show somewhat understates the reality when he points out that the government's talk about it's multi-billion dollar missile defense as a response to North Korea's anticipated missle tests is The Worst Bluff Ever.
Last but certainly not least, and easily the most important section of this post, my cyber-friend (and blogging cohort over at Preemptive Karma) Jeff has an update on his severely preemie son Jackson's fight to survive along with the amazing back story which you have to read to believe. Simply amazing! And the outpouring of support for Jeff and his wife Dana is truly international in scope and apparently spreading with each passing day. My prayers and fondest hopes are with them and their family during this difficult time of hoping and worrying at the same time. C'mon Jackson!
