The Seven Principles of Government
Harry Browne, the Libertarian Party candidate for President in 1996 and 2000, passed away on March 1 after a long illness. I am not going to eulogize here, only to point out this article Harry wrote three years ago: The 7 Never-to-be-Forgotten Principles of Government. I think it gives people of any ideological persuasion some things to think about.

Question number two is a good example of my doubts about Washington.
Do I really believe that George Bush, Teddy Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, and Trent Lott will have my best interests at heart when they fashion this new program or law?
