The Donald?
I must admit, I scratched by head on this one. But, I figured some would find this of interest.

The head of New York's Independence Party has launched a Web site aiming to draft Donald Trump into the 2008 presidential race as a third-party candidate.
Party Chairman Frank MacKay says he recently met with Trump to tell him about the draft plan. MacKay says the mega-developer was flattered and intrigued by the idea but noncommittal about running for president.
Trump considered a third-party run for the White House six years ago as the candidate of the Ross Perot-inspired Reform Party, but eventually decided against it.
MacKay has a website already set up.

It would be undeniably entertaining if The Donald (you should steal that name - LOL) were to run. But, I honestly don't think he is electable. Which is to say that I don't think he could even come close to winning. It would be entertaining, though!
Hey, he could do a new reality show except this one would be called "The Vice President" instead and he could narrow down the field by firing them one by one. LOL that'd be a hoot!
Firing......Vice President.....Not sure that is a good combination of words after the Cheney incident....hehe
D'oh! I hadn't thought of the double entendre.
