You Can't Go To The Gym

Well. it's time to pull your pass. You haven't been playing nicely and have even broken a rule or two.....

What am I talking about, you ask?

Well, it seems that one of the fixes, according to Capitol Hill Blue to the lobbyist problem is to only allow ex-members of Congress use the gym if the are NOT registared as lobbyists. Yep, that's in the reform bill.

The article points out, as I suspected would happen, is that the both lobbyist reform bills, introduced with such fanfare, don't go to the underlying campaign donations issue. The lobbyist might not be able to pay for that steak the Senator is eating...but he can hand her a donation at the end if the evening is how Capitol Hill Blue puts it.

More of the same crap. Did anyone here really expect more though?
