Where Are the Ethic Complaint Filings?
One point brought up in this weeks Village Voice is that the Democrats haven't filed any complaints.
James Ridgeway had this to say about Minority Leader Pelosi...
Meanwhile, Minority Leader Pelosi, of California, brayed for an ethics committee probe of two Northern California Republican congressmen—Richard Pombo and John Doolittle.
Pelosi spokeswoman Jennifer Crider told the Voice that the idea of this "culture of corruption" in Congress applying equally to Democrats and Republicans is "absolutely false."
When asked why the congresswoman never actually filed a complaint with the ethics committee, which automatically would have led to an inquiry, Crider explained, "As a party leader, the congresswoman does not think it is appropriate to coordinate ethics complaints against other members. It seems likely that other members will file complaints in the future. But she personally will not file them."
Which brings to mind a question....WHY????
Is it because many of the practices by the GOP are also in the Democrat's playbook. Please don't take my question as letting the GOP off the hook. But, I can't help but think this strengthens my argument that both parties are corrupt.

I would think so.

I don't take it that way at all. Personally I think the evidence shows that the current crop of GOP are the worse violaters of the two. But, that certainly doesn't let the Dems off the hook.
Meanwhile... your question of why Congresswoman Pelosi hasn't and apparently won't file ethics complaints goes unanswered because only Pelosi can answer it. Without a doubt her stance leaves one with far more questions than answers.
