Conscious Knowledge of Wrongdoing
Matt Cooper has disclosed the contents of his testimony to the Grand Jury regarding Valerie Plame and the Leak Which Rocked The CIA, and there's one part that stands out as proof that Rove did wrong and knew it at the time.
Cooper writes in this week’s issue that he testified that, although it’s not reflected in his notes or subsequent emails, he had a distinct memory of Rove ending the call by saying, “I’ve already said too much.” Cooper writes this could have meant he was worried about being indiscreet or just late for a meeting or something else. “I don’t know, but that sign-off has been in my memory for two years,” Cooper writes.
This hole he's in is getting deeper.

Looks like now we have some proof that Rove definitely knew what he was doing and knew it was wrong.
True, TDV. Although, common sense pretty much dictated it anyway. Rove is one very shrewd operator. He knew exactly what he was doing.
It's interesting to watch Bush Flip - Flop on the issue of what he will do to anyone in his administration who leaked Plame's identity.
It wasnt illegal.
And that is all that matters.
