Oh the irony...

Vice President "Go F#*% Yourself" Cheney claimed today that Howard Dean is "over the top."
In an interview with rightwing network FOX's Hannity & Colmes, Cheney expanded:
"I've never been able to understand his appeal. Maybe his mother loved him, but I've never met anybody who does. He's never won anything, as best I can tell.''
It's not surprising that Cheney's never met anyone who loves Howard. He and President Bush are carefully shielded from exposure to anyone who isn't already an ardant supporter.
During the 2004 campaign anyone wanting entrance to a Cheney event had to first sign an endorsement of Bush before they'd be allowed inside.
Bush campaign events were similarly controlled to weed out anyone who wasn't already a dittohead:

All of this is in response to Dean having described the GOP as "pretty much a white, Christian party.'' But all he did was to throw back their own meme back at them.
The RNC sent out mailings last Fall to warn West Virginians that, among other things, the Bible would be banned if Democrats were elected.
This bumpersticker was for sale last August at republicanmarket.com:

The Bush/Cheney 04 campaign racially profiled reporters last year.
So what in the hell has Dean said that was untrue?
Nothing!
As for Dean allegedly having never won anything... Could Cheney be so incredibly isolated from reality that he's not aware that Howard Dean was elected Governor of Vermont five straight times? Actually, come to think of it that's not hard to believe.

Here is an interesting tidbit. Guess who else considers themselves "god's party"...Hezbollah. That is right, the GOP is the American equivalent of Hezbollah--that is quite telling if you ask me.
Good point, TDV. I'm told that Hezbollah translates literally into "party of God."
