Propaganda Machine
I posted the other day about how Carla over at Preemptive Karma dissected allegations by GOPers trying to throw the recent Washington state gubernatorial election results into doubt. Specifically by one blog, Sound Politics.
She has continued comparing their spin with the verifiable facts. In order from oldest to most recent:

And here
Here she notes a lame attempt by Sound Politics to ban her from being able to even comment on their propaganda posts. Just a bit ago another guy who isn't associated with Preemptive Karma (he has his own blog) noted that he too had just been banned by Sound Politics for asking a tough question. His apparent crime was to ask whether SP had bothered to check a specific issue with King County Elections Board prior to posting their conclussion. I think the banning pretty much answers that question.

That's what happens when you're having an (blog) identity crisis.
Hi, I'm the "other guy." You've got it pretty much right. I did say in the message that checking the facts before reporting might have prevented another embarrassment for him (Carla having exposed him on the military ballots). That was apparently too much for him to take. I was history.
SoundPolitics isn't concerned in the least with finding out information--what they want to do is construct a case for their belief that the election was stolen. It doesn't make for a healthy debate, and apparently if you get too close to touching a nerve, that's the end for you. Oh well.
