New Etymology of Trickery and Politics

I'm a big fantasy hoops fan. Poring through the box scores tonight, I came upon this priceless quote from a recently demoted Jalen Rose of the Toronto Raptors:

TORONTO -- Jalen Rose's demotion overshadowed a rare Toronto Raptors win...

"This isn't the first time in my career where I was in a situation where I was treated unfairly," Rose said. "I've seen this movie before...I'd play this game for free, but as a player it kind of makes you scratch your head, just the politricks that go with the NBA."

I love the occasional confluence of sports and politics.
