Welcome to our brand new blog. Donald will probably be doing most of the blogging. But, I just wanted to get this thing kicked off by welcoming Indies of every stripe.

Indie Castle is a place for any and all Indies to congregate and discuss American politics for our perspective. We hope that you will consider it your "home" on the web. Most of all, just have fun with it!

We all know that Indies tend to be the proverbial round peg that simply doesn't fit in any of the conventional square holes. Our ideologies are all across the board and often mix and match in our own unique way. Perhaps the one common thread between us all is that we tend to distrust organized political parties for any number of reasons. And many of us, like myself, started out as members of an organized political party only to become disenchanted and left.

I do want to add here that we're open to guest bloggers... particularly those Indies who already have a weblog of their own. If that sounds interesting to you, contact Donald or myself.
