NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York officials were red-faced on Friday after they discovered that clothing ads on city buses that appeared to promote reading suggested a love of books could be rewarded with oral sex.
The advertisements that ran on about 200 buses across the city in recent months carried posters displaying a suggestively posed woman in hot pants kneeling among a pile of books beside the snappy slogan "Read Books, Get Brain."
What unhip, unsuspecting local transportation officials did not know was that "get brain" is street slang for oral sex.

How "atypical" comming from the morally devoid North East.
The whole direction of this article does not suprise me at all.
It was probably a huge joke from the "get go".
I saw the ads and didn't know it's innuendo....then again, I'm 37 so the current slang is beyond me.
Did the creators know? Wouldn't suprise me.
I am a college student and I have never heard anyone use the term "Get Brain" as a reference to oral sex.
Get Head, would be a reference to oral sex and I think the marketers where merely doing a play on words.
I don't believe anyone has ever used "Get Brain" as a reference to oral sex.
