Going crazy over Spector

Hugh Hewitt has a brilliant piece in his blog as to why the right is wasting it's time opposing Spector. Personally, I though Spector's comments on anti-abortion judges to be a statement of reality and not a shot at the President.

Here's a highlight of the main point IMHO.

Specter's opposition to Bork in 1987 was 15 years ago. Specter supported Clarence Thomas and every Bush nominee since W's election in 2000. On what basis do opponents of Specter base their belief that he will oppose Bush nominees in the second term?
It's really time someone told the religious right to take a chill pill.

Raugh you have it all figured out don't ya? It's not you who are extreme, it's all the other people who are. You must be the only level-headed poster on this blog. When everyone on this blog appears to be "extreme" to you, chances are it is YOU who are the extreme one.

It's not that you are the only moderate on this blog and we are extreme, it is the other way around.

You really are delusional.

"Oh noooo! Three or four ideologues on a left biased board don’t think I am a moderate! Oh, what shall I do?!" (*roll eyes*)

Man, I am anything BUT a moderate. _Never_ have I claimed such a thing. But nice of you to partake in a such a Kerry-esque' type of attack. You know, lying and saying someone said something that they never said.

So when I am attacked by a left leaning knuckle dragger like your self, all I can do is smile, smile, smile.

"You know, lying and saying someone said something that they never said."

Kerryisque? I find it laughable and disturbing that any Bush supporter would accuse KERRY of being a liar when Bush flat out lied in all three debates. I suggest checking factcheck.org.

Didn't Bush say that he never said he didn't care about Bin Laden? It's one of those "exaggerations" right?...

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and I really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." George W. Bush, March 13, 2002
